Carlconna House in the Tasman district was built in 1875, she is a fully restored colonial homestead in central Takaka Village.
This wonderful 2 storey, spacious villa used to be right on the road frontage but it was moved back to make space for the tram that ran down the road. It is full of
character, elegance and historical grace.
It has a lovely secluded private garden with stone walls, water feature and outdoor facilities, and we are just a stroll down to cafes, shops and village theatre of the Takaka township.
Enjoy your G'nT's on the balcony or porch!
Two bedrooms open onto the balcony. All the rooms are spacious double rooms with Queen sized beds in 3 and one with 2 singles. There are 2 full bathrooms, these have adapted hand rails for entering the bath and shower and another separate toilet.
