This delightful two bedroom cottage has a separate sleep out with double bed and a modern ensuite. Mahau Magic has all the essentials for a relaxing Sounds holiday. It has access to a very private beach across the road from the house, a mooring, sit on top kayaks and dinghy available for your use. Surround by bush and with tracks, sea views, this holiday home has afternoon sun and is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening BBQ. Whether you’re into fishing, kayaking, walking or wine-touring, make Mahau Magic your base to explore the Marlborough Sounds.

This well-equipped cottage has a sitting room with kitchen adjacent. There is a gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The sitting room opens out on to the deck and garden with views over the Mahau Sound. The second bedroom has a bunk set with a queen base.
It’s a 15 minute drive at Linkwater for your milk and papers. Nelson is 1.5 hours away. Blenheim is 50 minutes’ drive. Picton and the ferry terminals are 50 minutes away. It’s a 25 minute scenic drive to Havelock with its bars and restaurants.
Marlborough produces around 80 percent of NZ wines, notably Sauvignon Blanc. Marlborough is also home to The Queen Charlotte Track and many other superb walking and mountain bike tracks. There are many options for kayaking, boat cruises and eco tours throughout Marlborough. Call in on your way through Tasman, Abel Tasman National Park, West Coast, St Arnaud, Nydia Bay, French Pass, D’Urville or other Cook Strait adventure.
