Overlooking the beautiful Lissermas Bay and on Queen Charlotte Drive within close proximity to Momorangi Bay. It is halfway between Picton and Havelock on the Queen Charlotte Drive. There are many awesome tourism operators sharing the sounds experience in wonderful ways from both Havelock or Picton and those in between.
The start of the Queen Charlotte Track is 10 mins drive or go kayaking with several operators in the region (the closest is 10 mins drive). The new Link Pathway is within 5mins walk and now has tracks open that follow the Queen Charlotte Drive between Havelock and Picton.
Marlborough is world renown for her Sauvignon Blanc and many wineries are making notable attractions with other varieties. Would your perfect day involve visiting the amazing Marlborough wine and food producers then taking samples home and sitting on an outstanding deck with outstanding views?
This house has an amazing deck overlooking the sounds where you can sit and watch the maritime traffic steaming into Picton or just listen to the surrounding bird life. She has been recently decorated by professionals with open plan family living in mind. There is also a luxurious 2 bedroom sleep out downstairs with a shared bathroom.
The house is on the water side of Queen Charlotte Drive and has her own bush track down to the water with the best private swimming beach Marlborough has to offer.
There is a mooring for up to 7.5m vessels, you can launch from Momorangi Bay beach or sealed ramps at Ngakuta Bay or The Grove both 10mins drive.
Momorangi Bay store close by. Momorangi Bay is a very popular beach with camping, boating and families and has a store as the hub for all activity which sells ice cream for those beautiful Marlborough sunny days.
Nelson City and airport 1.5 hours. Gateway to Abel Tasman National Park
Blenheim township and airport 40 mins.
Picton township and ferry terminal 20 mins
Havelock (greenshell mussel capital of the world!) 20 mins
Marlborough produces around 80% of NZ wines, notably Savignon Blanc. Marlborough is also home to The Queen Charlotte Track (one of NZ's great walks) and many other superb walking and mountain bike tracks. There are many, many options for kayaking, boat cruises and eco tours throughout Marlborough. She is a region with many options and will keep you busy or a place for rest whilst enjoying the views.
