The Sport Tasman Marlborough Muddy Buddy offers all the fun that can be found on an estuary. Buddy up with a friend, your school mate, work colleague, family member, get your costume sorted and head on down to the Kaituna Estuary off “The Mole” for loads of mud. Be one of those fleet footed dare devils who will navigate the water, mud, slippery slide and hurdles to complete a loop of absolute fun!

It's time to save the date for the 2020 Marlborough Wine and Food Festival, New Zealand's original an longest running wine festival held in a world-renowned wine producing region.

Festival-goers will get the opportunity to sample a unique selection of world-class wines, enjoy delicious local cuisine and dance to their heart's content with music from some of New Zealand's top bands all in the heart of one of Marlborough's oldest and most picturesque vineyards, Brancott Vineyard.

 After two hugely successful markets, Te Pātaka o Wairau Māori Night Market is back on Wednesday 5 February 2020 from 4-8pm at Seymour Square!

What better way to recognise the signing of Te Tiriti ō Waitangi and celebrate all things Te Ao Māori, than with your whānau in the surrounds of Seymour Square in Blenheim. This event, showcases Māori businesses, products and entertainment and has proved popular with locals and visitors.

Chloe Vitae will be singing some of your favourite Christmas tunes. The parade will begin at 3:30pm and there will be many floats creatively decorated! Santa will make an appearance!

Club Walk - A Tour of Local Clubs - Walk 14

An introduction to the heart of the Russell community, walk between the clubs, stopping for a drink and some fascinating stories. Visit the Boating club, sitting right on the water’s edge, threatening to float way with sea level rising. The Swordfish club located upstairs on the waterfront which is the oldest game fishing club in New Zealand is a must do when you visit the Bay of Islands. The RSA is full of its own history of fighting for survival. And of course, we have the Bowling Club which is an integral part of the community. Take in the photographic history and hear the stories behind the memorabilia which help keep our town alive. Once you have visited each club and appraised each menu you can return for dinner and a cosy night in with the locals.
